  1. DIRECTIONS FOR COPYING TO THE HARD DISK USING WINDOWS
  2.  1. Go to FILE MANAGER
  3.     On the left side of the screen you should see C:\
  4.     with the directories listed under the C:\ symbol.
  5.  2. Place the mouse pointer on the C:\ symbol and click once.
  6.     C:\ should now be highlighted.
  7.  3. Click on the File Menu.
  8.  4. Click on Create Directory
  9.     You should see a box Create Directory.
  10.     At Name type C:\SKILLS  Click OK.
  11.     If you scroll down the left side of the screen,
  12.     you should see the new directory SKILLS
  13.  5. Place the GRADING SKILLS POWER diskette in drive A:
  14.  6. Click on the A: Drive Icon (under the Title Bar).
  15.     You should see a directory for the files on the disk listed.
  16.  7. Click on the File Menu.  A menu will drop down.
  17.  8. Click on Select Files.  A window will appear.
  18.  9. Click on Select.  Lines will appear around the file names,
  19. 10. Click on Close.  The file names will appear to be colored in.
  20. 11. Click on File.  A menu will drop down.
  21. 12. Click on Copy.  A window will appear.
  22.     In the box following TO: type C:\SKILLS
  23. 13. Click OK
  24. 14. You can start GRADING SKILLS POWER from FILE MANAGER
  25.     On the left side of the screen you should see C:\
  26.     with the directories listed under the C:\ symbol.
  27. 15. If you scroll down the left side of the screen,
  28.     you should see the directory SKILLS
  29.     Place the mouse pointer on the SKILLS symbol and click once.
  30.     SKILLS should now be highlighted.
  31. 16. The GRADING SKILLS POWER file names will appear on the
  32.     right side of the screen.
  33. 17. Click on the filename SKILLS.EXE

  35. DIRECTIONS FOR COPYING TO THE HARD DISK USING DOS
  36. 1. First Create a Subdirectory named SKILLS for the program.
  37.    At the DOS prompt, you will see C:\>
  38.    Type MD SKILLS and press Enter
  39. 2. Now you will change to the SKILLS subdirectory.
  40.    Type CD SKILLS and press Enter
  41.    Your DOS prompt now reads C:\SKILLS\>
  42. 3. Now you will copy the files from the diskette to this subdirectory.
  43.    Place the GRADING SKILLS POWER diskette in drive A:
  44.    Type COPY  A:*.* and press Enter
  45.    You will see a message when the copying is done.
  46. 4. Remove the diskette from the disk drive and store
  47.    it in a safe place.
  48. 5. Type SKILLS and press Enter to start GRADING SKILLS POWER.
